Most children in Year 6 will take their End of Key Stage 2 SATs (Standard Assessment Tests) next week. A reminder of the test timetable:
- Monday 11 May: English Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (SPAG) papers 1 and 2
- Tuesday 12 May: English Reading
- Wednesday 13 May: Mathematics papers 1 and 2: Arithmetic and Reasoning
- Thursday 14 May: Mathematics paper 3: Reasoning
A complimentary breakfast of toast and juice is available for Year 6 pupils in the middle hall at 08:30, so their teachers can ensure the children are prepared and ready for each test. We understand that the test week can be an anxious time for some children, and meeting for breakfast at the beginning of each test day supports their wellbeing.
If you are a parent or carer of a pupil in Year 6 and have any questions about the tests, please ask your child’s teacher, Susannah Bellingham, Anna Newbold, Edel Fallon or Thomas Moudiotis. You can find more information about SATs here.
