Home Admissions

Admission to Brunswick Park Primary School

You are welcome to visit the school before applying for a place for your child. Please telephone the school administrator to make an appointment. Admissions are carried out in line with Southwark’s Admissions Policy for Community Schools. Reception class applications are made on a Common Application Form and must be returned to Southwark Council. Forms are available from any Southwark school or nursery and the Education Department. Priority is given to: looked after children, children with special educational needs and disabilities, children who have siblings attending the school and to children for whom it is the nearest school.

Applications for Nursery or casual places are made direct to the school. If your child is offered a place at you will be invited to meet with a senior member of staff before admission.

Reception 2026 Tour Dates:

Tours for prospective Reception parents will take place on the following dates at 10am:

  • Friday 12 September 2025
  • Thursday 25 September 2025
  • Friday 10 October 2025
  • Wednesday 22 October 2025
  • Friday 7 November 2025
  • Thursday 20 November 2025
  • Wednesday 10 December 2025
  • Friday 9 Jan 2026

Nursery places

We can now offer full-time Nursery provision, with 15- and 30-hour places for children from the term after their third birthday.

Our Nursery times are:

  • 15 hours – 9am-12noon or 12.30pm-3.30pm Monday-Friday. 15 hours can also be used across 2.5 days, depending on availability.
  • 30 hours – 9am-3.30pm Monday-Friday.
  • Breakfast club – 7.30-9am Monday-Friday
  • After- School club – 3.30pm-6pm Monday-Friday

There is an additional charge for Breakfast Club, After School Club and lunches.

If you would like to visit our Nursery, Please contact the school office to book a date.


Admissions Meeting

During this visit, you will be asked to give the Head Teacher, Deputy or Assistant Head Teacher (EYFS/KS1) some information about your child, details of any special dietary needs, and information about health and general development. You will need to give us addresses and telephone numbers where you can be contacted in case of an emergency. You will need to bring your child’s birth certificate and proof of address.

Ofsted has judged Brunswick Park’s Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes to be Outstanding!

Pupils respond well to its high academic expectations, and there is a strong sense of community. Staff get to know all pupils and their families and provide pupils with the support that they need to succeed at school. Pupils are considerate and respectful.
