Poppy Appeal
Every year Brunswick Park supports the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal by selling poppies to the children Remembrance Sunday this year is on 13 November, and poppies will be sold every day next week leading up to it.
Marking Remembrance Sunday ties in with Year 6’s work on World War II and their Black History Homework Project on the roles and contributions in that War of Black Soldiers and Service Personnel. We ask for a minimum donation of 20p for a poppy, and pupils in Year 6 will visit classes to sell them.
