Tracy Sherry, our Attendance Officer, works with families to improve their children’s attendance and punctuality so they get their full entitlement to education.
Remember:
- Children need to be in their classrooms ready for the register to be taken at 08:55.
- This means children must arrive at school BEFORE 08:55 – by the time the bell is rung at 08:50.
- Lessons begin at 09:00. If your child is late, your child misses learning.
- Children and classes are rewarded for regular attendance and good punctuality.
- Our whole school attendance target is 96%
We expect children to come to school every day on time. Children should be kept at home only if they have a serious illness or injury. If you are not sure if your child is well enough to come to school, you can consult the NHS guidance.
If you and your child are experiencing difficulties with school attendance, please talk to Tracy so we can help.
CONGRATULATIONS GO TO CLASS 2A WITH 100% ATTENDANCE AND CLASS 3A WITH 99.64% ATTENDANCE IN THE FISRT HALF TERM!
Both classes have received an Attendance Certificate and enjoyed their very own non- uniform day as a reward.
