Next week, all our pupils will take part in the Big Walk and Wheel competition.
The Big Walk and Wheel is a fantastic opportunity for pupils, staff, and families to enjoy active, sustainable journeys to school, whether walking, scooting, or cycling as a rider or passenger. It’s a fun and friendly competition that encourages healthy habits, reduces congestion around school gates, and supports cleaner air around our school.
Teachers will note the number of children who walk, scoot or cycle, and we hope to win some amazing prizes for the school, which include bicycles, scooters, playground equipment and many more! All you need to do is to encourage your child to travel to school sustainably. You do not need to provide us with any information. We look forward to seeing children travelling to school sustainably!
