We’re having the best time at the @NHM_London with Mason in the Dino Dig! We have been looking at fossils of ammonite and here are our observations: bumpy, hard, smooth, colourful and mixed with different greys and browns. Some smelt like sea salt. They were stripy and solid.
We became palaeontologists for the afternoon! We used brushes to brush away the debris and reveal a skull! Then, we had to use facts about their teeth and size to work out which dinosaur we thought it was!!
