Monday 15 November marks the beginning of Anti-Bullying Week with the annual Odd Socks Day. Donations of £1 on Monday will be much appreciated, and staff will be at the gates with bright pink buckets. Money raised goes to the charity. the Anti-Bullying Alliance.
This year’s theme is One Kind Word, and in school we will focus on the importance of kindness, valuing difference, responsibility for ourselves and others and what it takes to be a good friend. In preparation for Anti-Bullying Week, the children have chosen the member of staff they feel helps them best to maintain good friendships, and I am delighted to say it is our amazing Learning Mentor Bev Ferguson. She listens to understand, and makes sure she is available to those who need her support throughout the day.
