On 28 March Years 3 and 4 presented the gripping World War II Spy Musical Drama Treachery at Traitors’ Quay. Thanks to all those parents, carers, friends and family members who came along to support the children, who did an absolutely EXCELLENT job ably assisted by our fabulous Specialist Music Teacher Paula Hales and the Years 3 and 4 Staff Teams.
It is important that we remember that education is so much more than the 3 Rs. We have to enable children to be creative, to sing, play musical instruments, dance, perform, draw and paint, discuss, think about the World and its citizens and play games and sport, as without these children cannot grow into well-rounded, considerate people. Brunswick’s ethos is inclusive, and every child took part, from the most confident to speak clearly in front of a crowd to those with autism who find communication challenging. It was the highest quality performance by children of that age that has ever been seen at Brunswick, and we should all be proud of what all our children can do when we work together.
