Dance, Dance, Dance!!!

May 19, 2020Tony CavalloBPPS Newsroom

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to inform you to that Southwark Music Hub has decided it’s time to share some musical fun to brighten up the next few weeks and are going to create a virtual massed recording of ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ by Justin Timberlake. We hope that all of you will join in the fun! Everyone in Southwark is welcome to participate.

It is intended for all ages and musical abilities; it may for example be appropriate for younger children to focus on singing just the chorus, or perhaps on dancing. Meanwhile, more advanced musicians may wish to develop harmony or solo parts that can be edited into the final mix. The main thing is to have some fun with it; children and adults alike.

The rehearsal tracks and printable parts are all available from Ms Hales along with details on how you should record and upload your performance. The Music Hub has set Sunday 31 May as a closing date for submissions, so there are 2 weeks to rehearse and upload parts.

If you have any questions about taking part, contact Ms Hales by phone or email through the School Office and she will do her best to answer them.

And do remember to Dance Dance Dance!

Kind regards
Paula Hales (Music)

Tony Cavallo
